Taylor Container Forklift

Taylor Container Forklift

Ever since 1976, Taylor Machine Works has built, engineered and marketed empty container handlers. The "Big Red" line of empty handlers reflects the experience and knowledge gained in those years. The Taylor empty handlers are referred to as "All American" models as they are manufactured and engineered in the United States. Taylor is always on the cutting edge of industrial technology. The business strives to maintain their dedication of building and engineering the most dependable, most productive and best container handling machines around, anywhere in the world.

So as to better meet your particular requirements, the companies empty container handlers are equipped with a huge assortment of attachments. The following is a list of models with their basic mast and attachment.

To be able to pick 20 feet throughout 53 feet empty ISO standard containers and empty reefer containers, the TECDS-150H Attachment is able to expand. Any containers measuring more than 40 feet need to have standard 40 feet ISO pickup points. The attachment has electrical signal lights inside the cab, 4 corner twist-locks, hydraulic slewing and 2 work lights.

Able to handle 2 separate 20 foot or 40 foot empty ISO standard containers at the same time is the ELME attachment. It allows for many containers to be stacked on top of each other. Also, this kind of attachment comes with 4 horizontal twist-locks which insert into the side apertures of the lower container's top corner castings and the upper containers bottom corner castings. The highly specialized design of the twist-locks allows block stacking to be accomplished.

Drive Train
Each and every model of the Taylor container forklifts utilizes a Tier Compliant Cummins electronic turbocharged, charged air after-cooled or charged air to air diesel engine. A few of the basic engine features comprise electronic maintenance and diagnostic monitor, engine/transmission protection, fuel/water separator, improved fuel economy and reduced overall emissions. Additionally, the transmission available for all 3 models is a power-shift, non-modulated, 3-speed, fully reversing transmission. It comes complete with inching capacity and remote shift control.

These specific units have been engineered specifically to work in extreme climate in the harshest environments in the world. These models are able to work with ease through deep snow, rough terrain and thick mud. Having the ability to rely on a dependable machine when you are working in the middle of nowhere and in lousy conditions is certainly an essential investment for your business.
