Nissan Dual Fuel Forklifts

Nissan Dual Fuel Forklifts

Most commonly, internal combustion or IC lift trucks are utilized for indoor applications such as: trucking, manufacturing, bottling and warehousing, among other things. These units ride on cushion tires that are solid rubber tires. The Internal Combustion forklift units can operate either by Liquid Petroleum Gas or LPG, dual fuel or diesel. The dual fuel units run with both gasoline and LPG. These equipment can work on either fuel but not at the same time. IC engines are Class 4 forklifts. The engine is responsible for powering the truck, the hydraulics and all functions of the truck.

The GO4 Series and the Nissan Forklift Platinum II units have capacities varying from 3000 to 11,000 lbs. These models provide CARB certified LPG/gasoline or LPG or dual-fuel engines. The CARB certification on these specific engines gives them the confidence to help protect the environment because it allows the forklifts to generate low emissions. The environmental certifications such as CARB, help a lot of employers offer cleaner and therefore safer working atmosphere for their employees.

The fuel management systems offered by Nissan, the LP/Gas combinations, offer optimum engine operation to lessen exhaust emissions and offer fantastic fuel economy at the same time. Every Platinum II fork truck is standard equipped with their compressive engine protection system in place to warn operators in case of a severe drop in oil pressure or excessive heat. This particular system helps to extend your drive train and engine life to help keep your lift truck investment working at its optimum ability.

Since companies have tried to become more "green" to be more efficient and environmentally friendly, the dual fuel lift trucks models have been making big waves in the industry. It's also a good idea to rent the machinery for a bit to find out if you like the way it handles before buying one. There are many different options in the business these days and with some research, you will be able to select the right unit for your certain use.
