Genie telescopic S-booms have working heights of 14.20 meters to 40.15 meters and a horizontal reach of between 9.65 meters and 24.38 meters. Compared with various other aerial work platforms, telescoping booms have a much greater range of horizontal reach. Genie telescopic booms are engineered with consideration to being able to access tight places during industrial and construction applications. They are also recognized for their ability to maneuver through a job site quickly and with great drive speed and traction. The platform hydraulically turns 160° and could stay level through the whole range. Front-entry platforms are available from 1.83 meters to 2.44 meters and come with 227 kilogram to 272 kilogram capacity for tools and operators. 360° continuous rotating turntables offer easy, quick positioning for operators.
The Z-135/70 unit comes outfitted with a Jib-Extend, which is a telescoping jib. It extends from 3.66 meters to 6.1 meters. This model can also reach 110° vertically to give the user the ability to reach jobs which were unreachable by standard jibs before. A secondary reverse-articulating boom on the Z-80/60 model gives the user 8.83 meters of up and over reach. This specific feature allows up and over reaching jobs to be completed with zero front arm swing.
Genie also provides the Fast Mast system that allows for precious time to be saved when both secondary and primary booms have to be lifted or for lowering the platform without having to lower the secondary boom. The Fast Mast system enables both booms to be fully elevated at the same time. Both of these features of the Genie Fast Mast system lessens the time needed for users to descend and ascend, increasing both production and efficiency.
