JLG Telehandlers Kentucky
After spending numerous years working together with his brother to build their crane manufacturing corporation into a leader of the industry, John L. Grove chose to retire. His wife Cora and John celebrated their retirement by going on a cross-country trip using their R.V. After that trip, JLG Industries, Inc. emerged and became the global leading producer of mobile aerial work platforms and specialized material handling machines.
John spent much of the time during the R.V. trip talking to prior business associates who the Groves were visiting on their journey. Sadly, while they visited the Hoover Dam, 2 employees were accidentally electrocuted on scaffolding. During subsequent conversations, John discovered a huge untapped market for a product that can safely and quickly hoist people into the air in order to perform maintenance and construction work.
After John and his wife returned from the journey, John decided to take action. He and two close friends began a partnership and after that purchased a small metal manufacturing company in McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania. In 1970, with an original group of 20 employees, the trio built and sold the very first JLG aerial work platform. Numerous components of the basic design elements of that very first machine are still being integrated into the present product
Ever since John L. Grove first came back into town from his cross-country trip, the company has come a very long way. They have significantly grown ever since their first aerial work platform initially launched on the marketplace. Even these days, JLG continues to expand into additional global markets. A lot of innovative products are made to help clients be more productive and work safer.
JLG has remained devoted to being at the forefront of the industry. The business takes operator comfort into consideration really seriously. They strive to deliver in performance, along with safety and overall comfort so that the operator can be as effective as possible.
