Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic forklifts provide versatility and height. These models are equipped with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck. The arm, or crane, is called a telescopic boom. The boom allows the individual utilizing it to maintain a high degree of control while raising the cargo to great heights. Regular forklifts aren't able to move the load towards and away from the cab of the forklift, while a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is commonly used in both agriculture and construction. It is recommended for applications where greater lift and control is required.
In situations needing high volume carton handling, hydraulic attachments known as forklift carton clamp attachments are recommended. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings which allow the operator to use uniform clamping force when picking up a load. It comes with a backrest that protects the cargo from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is used for storing systems that don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This kind of system is handy for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A man basket is a lift platform meant specifically to hoist personnel. The basket attaches to the forklift forks, held in with a strap or chain that is to be directly secured to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the staff from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
